For the first Sentence Scribble, I thought it only appropriate to use my favorite opening line from any novel written in English. Though some may think this quotation from Samuel Beckett's Murphy is a depressing way to begin, I see it as refreshingly honest motivation. The sun is shining, comme d'habitude, over this too-hot city, but I'm going to do something new anyway!
